Default watch the bat

I was doing a HS fall game the other day and when a batter hit one foul down the line I picked up his bat and stood it up, handle up, in the soft dirt so he could grab it easier. The catcher told me about a video he saw on the You Tube and here it is:

I don't think I will ever say that I have seen it all.

It may be a cool pitch, however, the catcher physically "Pulled" or "Raked" that pitch from the opposite batters box to the corner of the plate. This is no "Frame" where the catcher rotates the glove, it's moved a good 6 to 10 inches.

This ump was badly fooled by the catchers rake of the pitch.

Just my .02 cents.

my $.02 is that it is obviously staged for a laugh or promo or something. there are approxiamtely zero fans in the seats, guys are sitting out on the field watching, and the centerfielder is "playing" 30 feet behind 2nd base.

Not to mention that there are opposing players sitting on the same bench.

It's just goofball stuff.

YouTube has removed the video due to a copyright claim by MLB Advance Media.
