the answer to your number is always going to be divisible by 9. if you look, 9,18,27,36,45,54,63,72,81 are all the same symbol. no matter waht two digit number you select, you are always going to end up with one of those numbers. even if you don't pick a number the symbol will be the same for all those numbers.

The symbols change everytime though so it cant just be the numbers matched up with the symbols

yes the symbols do change everytime, but all the symbols for numbers divisible by 9 are the same. whatever number you think of is always going to be divisible by 9.
