IBAF Seoul Korea
Wow what great news this is that the IBAF, 18U Baseball Championship will be played in Seoul Korea starting on Aug 30- Sept 8, 2012. 12 teams in all playing round-robin and it should be great for baseball to play here this year. I sure hope to go and watch some good baseball if I am not umpiring and calling games else where here in Korea. I will keep my eye out for any updates as it gets closer to the date.

Jocko Conlan became an umpire by accident when Red Ormsby was overcome by the heat while umpiring a 1935 game between the Chicago White Sox and St Louis Browns. Conlan was an outfielder with the White Sox was asked to fill in. In 1936 he began his career. |

The Aussie team are the current Champions and have a team going.
They recently withdrew from the Under 15 age group that was being held in Mexico.

Thanks for the update still trying to find out about getting tickets some how. Would love to see some good baseball.
