did you read the OP by Richard? R3 leading off in foul, B2 hits a liner that hits 3rd base and rockets into R3 standing on foul ground, no all that far fetched.

which one am I? the BU or PU? If I'm BU AND the OC asks (nicely) I would probably go for help. If I'm PU I stay quiet while giving my partner my super secret "I've got info" look. and I'm not sure...

I don't think its a question of a balk superseding a CI. like Sdix said, the balk, by rule, MUST be enforced because you called it and the options of non-enforcement were not met. but even with that...
