All Star Shin Guards at Ump-Attire

Has anyone tried these yet? Just curious how they feel, etc. I have been using the Diamonds and like them very much..With the exception of the inside having exposed metal rivets that corrode over time...

I like the look of the straps across the back of the leg and the fact that the scapula pad is removable and washable...Not a common trait on many models...Plus the removable toe cap...again, not offered in all models...

Thanks in advance for any info you can provide...

If you're looking for new shin guards, they're spendy but Douglas just came out with new leg guards and CP's for those who are interested.

I would think that if your shin guards are covering your scapula, you're wearing them wrong!

If the shin guards cover your scaupla, they are too long.

The Gerry Davis shin guards are the best. I don't think they can be beat.

I may agree have the GD shin guards and they provide the protection I need and its like I don't even have them on.

I've been wearing Bauer hockey official shinguards, that are really close in design to the Davis, for many years. Big, wide velcro straps, Cool max lined, with solid knee protection. I've got a pair of WV as backups, but haven't used them in a very long time.

I looked around on the net for reviews and found a few. Nothing negative was said, but I had hoped to get some real-life feedback from someone using them on a regular basis.

If I hear anything, I'll let you know.
