Hi fellas. There is a group from Rhode Island hosting a softball umpire clinic February 13, 2011 in Providence, RI at the Johnson & Wales University campus. The New England Umpire Improvement Program will have four NCAA softball umpires as instructors. They are:
Ed Rado DI Super Regional UIC the last two seasons and one of the best mechanics guys around.
Joe Argo ECAC assigner for over 65 DIII softball teams throughout New England.
Dr. Ken Miller rules interpreter for the ECAC.
Tom Silvestri ECAC evaluator.
NEUIP has detailed bios for all four of this great staff and it will be very informative. These are the guys to help you get started, get better or get to the next level.
