Anyone check this one out?
I was watching as I was putzing around the house after work, and I remember as Ohio was winning (can't remember the inning) but I saw ESPN interviewing the "Robinson" parents, and how they named their one son "Brooks" ....blah blah blah .....ok, whatever...
So, ...then they pan back to the game just in time for a Hawaii player to pop up to F1, which is "Brooks Robinson" ....and he "PETE ROSE" catches the pop up, [one hand, and flipping it down towards the ground,...basically a "hot-dog" move]. I remember thinking to myself, ..."that move is going to bite him in the a$$
Well, ...if you saw the game, ...Ohio did lose, but what I liked the best about the game was when the Ohio coach came out to calm down our hero, "Brooks" ....
As the coach is coming out, the kid says something [obviously bitching about the strikes NOT being called strikes, which they weren't] ....and as he's walking up to the mound, he's looking at Brooks saying "those aren't strikes, those aren't strikes" all while shaking his head, "no" ....THAT is encouraging!
Some coaches ARE indeed rats (see the Washington coach) but ...I liked what I saw in this scene w/ the Ohio coach for sure......
