STAR-LEDGER, August 05, 2009 9:44 p.m.

The NJSIAA softball committee voted unanimously to change the pitching distance from 40 to 43 feet for softball beginning in 2010, NJSIAA associate director Carol Parsons said Wednesday.
The National Federation of State High School Associations approved the change in June, though it is does not become mandatory until the 2010-2011 school year. The NJSIAA opted to change a year earlier.

Oregon high schools went to 43' last season.

I think ASA 18u uses 43' as well.
