Something I have never seen before. Doing a 50/70 game yesterday. Batter is taking little practice swings in the box as the pitcher starts his wind-up. I guess he didn't time his little practice swings well because he must have felt he had to bring the bat back extra quickly as the pitcher was throwing to get into a batting position. When he brought the bat back he didn't hold on to it well and the bat flew out of his hands and hit me in the shoulder pad. I wasn't hurt. The pitch came in and I called it a strike. Then I had to stop the game for a minute to stop laughing.
