Saw a lot of teams using these this year after every pitch coach yells out a # for batter or fielder, Player looks on wrist band and knows play coach wants, Every player but the pitcher wears one what do ya think about this ? It takes up more time as player studies wrist card.

My suggestion for you would be to stop working games for the mentally impaired.

Ive seen this quite a bit in my area. It is likely to grow in popularity. Lowers the risk of missing signs I'm told. What ever.

There is a team in my area that does that. The one time that I had them, it didn't seem to make much difference in the length of game.

I've seen catchers wear them, but not fielders.

This past season was the first time I'd ever seen these at a baseball game.
Only two times, and, like Kyle, both times only worn by the catchers. The coaches used them to signal pitches to the catcher. The coach would bark a number from the dugout, the catcher would "look it up" on his "wrist card" & then signal the pitcher.
Seemed kind of silly to me, but I found it more amusing than annoying.

I saw a HS team do this the last two years. The catcher and SS both wore them.

I've seen it with a few teams on the High School level. Most are catcher only, but I have seen one team who's pitcher kept his cap, and referred
to it only sparingly, not between each pitch.

It's become very popular in baseball. The company that sells them says nobody can steal your signs when you use them.... I don't know if that's true or not.
I've seen everything from just the catcher wearing it, to every fielder but the pitcher wearing one, to the defense AND offense wearing them. I think it slows the game WAY down, personally.
