I was told by a coach the other night, "Lance, you would be the best umpire in the county if you just worried about umpiring!"

I am not sure at what he is trying to say.

Maybe your to worried about others things going on in the game... How you look, or trying to be friends with everyone... Not to sure what he meant.

Well, maybe if you didn't spend half of your games checking out the inbred trailer trash women that frequent them, he wouldn't have said such a hurtful thing. It must be very distracting to an umpire to constantly worry about where his next free shot of Penicillin will come from.................

Lance, food for thought. If you're the ONLY umpire in the county, you could be the best one. You'd also be the worst so you need to think this through carefully.

I am sorry to say I have been away from this board for a while, but i MUSt KNOW what Umpire Lance is up to - Where are you Umpire Lance?

My kids are now through youth baseball, so I now hope to follow in Lance's footsteps (now that I have grown up)...

Amazing, isn't it?

I was about to virtually beat Tecolote viciously about the head and shoulders, and these other rubes think Lance is back.... man, I need a break.... ROFL
