Not so much an ejection - but this happened to me tonight.
I was doing another area LL tourney. Day 1 of the tourn. was Thurs night. I was PU, my partner was taking HELL because he blew a call. It happens.
Relitave of player/fan takes exception to the call - and is all OVER my partner (who is an idiot in his own right. See my recent post under MECHANICS). "You can't even see a play that's right in front of your face!! You've got to be kidding me!! Get that guy out of there!!"
But since I was in earshot and closest to this fan.. I turned to him and said very firmly with a point "That's enough! Another word and YOU ARE GONE!" Needless to say.. he shut up quick.
Anyway, a local Sheriff's Officer was at the game, and that game had been assisting me in watching the weather. We had a pretty good chance of thunderstorms that night, and it looked like some were bearing down on us. After I warned the fan and talked to his team's coaches, the SO came to me and asked about the situation with the fan. I told him it seemed handled now, but he said he would go talk to the fan. This fan had been chirping all game, until he really blew up at my partner.
The SO went and talked to him, smelled alcohol on him, and arrested him for PI. The SO caught me after the game and told me he blew a .11.
I didn't dump him, but kharma sure is a bitch, isn't it?
