I just read that Jerry Royster was hired by Bobby V as his third base coach. I remember when he was manager of the Lotte Giants here in Korea from 2008-2010 and took that team to the playoffs all three years. It great to see him coaching again in the big leagues.

As a lifelong supporter of Boston, I am not very happy with Bobby (the clown) Valentine managing the Red Sox. Jerry, on the other hand, is an intelligent and knowledgeable coach who will fit in well up in Boston. It's going to be a rough season for us Red Sox fans - we'll just have to wait and see.

Merry Christmas to you

The Yanks thrived with the Bronx Zoo and the Billy-Reggie and George-Billy battles so the Sox might just do OK with Bobby V.

I am sure that the Red Sox will do just fine with Bobby Valentine he seems to have changed some and we will have to just wait and see what takes place lets give him a chance.

Yes Jerry is a fine and intelligent/ knowledgeable baseball coach and manager. I know when he was the manager here in Korea he ran a tight ship and we had some very good talks while he was here. The players loved and respected him and the fans loved him also. There is a book out also its called: In Jerry We Trust "No Fear" Its about his experience while he was in Korea and with the Lotte Gaints he was one heck of a teacher and the players believed in him. Everyone still talks about him he is a Icon here in Busan.

Merry Christmas to you also.
