OK, I know a lot of people are going to scoff at this, and to some it would be a very boring format, but I would love to have the OBR on CD so I could listen and learn while I'm in those traffic jams or doing mindless tasks!
Does anyone know if OBR is available in audiobook form?
I know the dimensions of fields and gloves and etc. (pictures and images) could be referenced and not explained in excruciating detail.

The other problem would be not being able to go back to other sections/rules as needed to get the whole understanding of a rule.
Don't think it is something you want to listen to while driving.
Would have to have a Warning Label. "May cause drowsiness, do not drive or operate machinery until you know how this may effect you".

Something like that?
I doubt there's an audio version, but it would be interesting. How would you want the lists done?
Together:
A game shall become a suspended game that must be completed at a future date if
the game is terminated for any of the following reasons:
(1) A curfew imposed by law;
(2) A time limit permissible under league rules;
Or separate:
A game shall become a suspended game that must be completed at a future date if
the game is terminated by a curfew imposed by law.

the game is terminated by a time limit permissible under league rules.

From my perspective,
1.
Anything would be a lot better than nothing if it were the latest version of the OBR.
2.
It will not be perfect, but it sure would add to education and understanding of the whole. Surely items of interest would pop up that could be investigated later in the paper, online copies, and etc.

Joe, I won't say you are not crazy, but I will say you are not alone. I have all of my thirty-some books on my kindle and iPad. The kindle has text to speech and I regularly listen on my long commute.
I will also tell you that listening to the OBR is the worst way to learn the rules. Listening to J/R, JEA, MLBUM, and PBUC is MUCH more effective.
If no kindle (why not, it's only a hundred bucks), then there is a program called TextAloud that will turn any text in to an MP3 file. 40 bucks for the program and AT&T Natural voices.
