fed.....Coach comes to mound, removes pitcher, then almost immedietly walks back to dugout. 3 warm-up pitchers later he trots back out to mound to tell pitcher something. Could this be construed as another visit?

Retired.....this could easily be answered if you looked in a rule book. If you do not have a rule book, I will send you one of my old ones. PM me if needed.
The answer lies in did he cross the foul line.

Grab that end if you like. I'm not busting him on that when the kid is still warming up. In some cases he may have to change the pitcher using that reasoning.

I'm letting him know before he goes out that it will be a visit. Then, if he wants to go, let him and charge him. Heck, maybe he noticed an "injury" in which case I'll accompany him and not charge him.

Retired, this would not be "another" visit as the original visit would not be charged as he made a pitching change. Forest gave you the criteria for when a visit concludes, and bobjenkins gave you good advice. 3-1-2 gives you the authority to refuse a visit if the visit would cause the removal of the new F1 before the current batter completes his time at bat or a third out is made.

Good catch.
