Post subject: Gary Cederstrom and the Wilson HSM

So - I'm watching the Giants v. Rockies last night, and Gary Cederstrom is behind the plate.
He's wearing the Wilson (Shock, I presume) HSM.
But he's added this plexiglass neck protector - very much like the ones hockey goaltenders wear.
See below:
The big question is, does anyone know where to obtain one of those devices?
I'm seriously considering the Wilson Shock helmet, but it's pretty apparent that it leave the throat a bit exposed.
Anyone?

So when did the Giants change their name to the Padres and why did they change the color of their uniforms as well?

Just saw the Wilson 2009 Catalog - they have a throat guard specifically designed for their Wilson Shock HSM's...
A3906 (6" guard)
A3904 (4" guard)
They must be brand new for 2009 - a google search turned up no retailers carrying them.
Suggested Retail Price from Wilson is $20. |
