We count with at least 16 instructors in our staff, all graduated from the academy and 8 of them actually working in the Minor Leagues. Classroom instruction includes a comprehensive survey of the rule book and proper umpiring procedures. In addition, you will participate in open discussions, rap sessions and class competition. Our training is designated to take your amateur umpiring to a new level.

Personal plate stances are evaluated and recommendations made wich will improve your calling of ball and strikes. Jim and his instructors will demonstrate the three most popular stances used in professional baseball and help you understand the advantages and disadvantages of each. You will work with individual instructors and pitching machines to accelerate your learning.

A complete scholarship to the most outstanding student of the training will be granting to attend the academy of Mr. Evans in Orlando, Florida in January 2009.
